1996 GSI gauge problem

Just bought a GTI and everything seems to run fine but the gauge on the right side is not working correctly. I filled it with gas and there is a red light on by the gas pump picture and the digital part shows nothing (guess that it is suppose to show how much gas is left) How can I fix this?

The owners manual can be down loaded right from seadoo's web site.

The problem with the fuel gauge is most likely the float sank. Replace it... and it will probably work again.

Your gas gauge problem is probably the float, get the newer molded type. As far as manuals go, if you join as a premium member you can download them from this site, or you can google to find one.

So Can I just remove the sending unit from tank and fix it or do I have to get a new one?

You probably just need a new float, it's inside the fuel baffle.
