1994 sp smoke

Just got it just changed the solenoid turn it on and start smoking bad white smoke any body could tell me the reason hasn't been ran in a month half u can say..

I’m not clear from your post if you are saying the starter was smoking or if you got the engine started and it was sending white smoke out the exhaust.

Mine always has a bluish white smoke when I start it after sitting awhile. I think it’s just burning off the two stroke oil in the gas and it’s more noticeable when first started.
