Got a 94 GTS this weekend... changed the gas as it had been sitting and checked the oil. Started first try and ran amazing... didnt pin it ever but had been pulling a wakeskate for a couple hours (never past 2/3 throttle). Was idling waiting for a person to grab the rope when the idle went really low, rumbled for a second then died. Tried to start it again and it started and died after 5 seconds. After that it would only make one loud click and not turn over when the ignition was pressed. Gas is fine, oil is fine. Tried to jump start it (which i now know is a big mistake). Any tips? Help? Hoping i didnt blow the engine.

Checked the plugs, there was no fluid on them. They were new when we put them in but after the fiasco they just looked used. (black from sparking)

checked gas, battery, oil.

how do you turn it over by hand?

Remove the spark plugs, remove the plastic pto cover at the rear of the engine, see if you can turn the pto flywheel over by hand.
