Here's the question - I see steering cables for sale on Ebay for my 1992 Seadoo GTS. Looks fairly straight forward.

Here is the question: What broke was just the last inch or so at the back of the cable - the threaded part that attaches to the water diverter for steering. It left only about 3 threads on the end of the cable. Will that small section come off so I can replace just that small section, or is that all part of the cable and I need to replace the entire cable?

I couldn't find separate cable parts online, so I'm assuming it's all one piece from the back up to the front of the cable.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

cable is all one piece with about an inch or so thread at the end. so if its the actual cable that's snaped looks like a new/second hand cable.
