05 RXT 215 oil type??

Hey guys

Looking for some information on what type of oil/oil filter to use in my 2005 rxt 215 synthetic or no? Any information would be appreciated.

Also forgot to mention it has 95 hours on it and I just rebuilt my sc.

You do NOT want a full synthetic in the 4-tecs. You want a blended. Neither the engine or the SC like the full synthetic. I have an 09 and the manual has since been updated to include ALL 4-tecs as well as SC engines. It use to be that the Non-SC ran synthetic, but now they are all blended.

You can use any JASO MA1 or MA2 rated oil whether it's synthetic or not. This is basically wet clutch compatable motorcycle oil.

Thank you guys. When you say blended is the synthetic that bombardier sells for 4 tec sea doos good for my 2005 rxt 215?

I would think that is it but would need to look at the details on the container. Since it is Seadoo that change the reccomendation to no full-synthetic I would think they only sell semi-synthetic.
