01 GTX RFI

I have a 2001 Seadoo GTX RFI I bought it not running with a locked up starter. I replaced the starter and it cranked for a little while and would even start and run for a few seconds before dying. Now it doesn’t even crank all I get from it is a hum from the solenoid. I’ve tried swapping solenoid and MPEM with known good ones and still nothing. I pulled the starter back off and reinstalled it and it started cranking again but now all I get is just a hum from the solenoid. Any help would be appreciated!

Pull the plugs,,,can you rotate the crank freely by hand.?

Yes it will rotate by hand

Okay,,,is the pump/prop perhaps locked up,,,it sure sounds like the selenoid is struggling,,,the only place for a "humm" would be the fuel pump...that sound if an electric motor trying to start.
