I have a 97 GTX that idles fast and will not adjust back down. Tried to twist back manually at the engine but very hard to turn. what is the cause, how can I fix. Do i need to replace the carbs? thanks

Recently rebuilt engine revs fine on trailer but drops to running on one cylinder when it hits the water. Looks like it has spark at idle. Compression is good. Is there a way to check to see if the injectors are delivering fuel when it is under load? Any advice would be apreciated.

Wonderful! Another problem.... Today I noticed my 787 is idling weird after driving it. It wants to go down to about 1k and jump to 1600 and back down etc. Any thoughts? My whole engine is rebuilt. Carbs, crank, pistons, rings, jugs etc. Electrical maybe?

well, before I burn this thing. I just replaced all my fuel lines and cleaned the filters in the carbs. Now when It's running I can rev it and it will hold its rpm's for about 30 secs or even rev higher then it will go back down to an idle. I can see my idle stop and the butterflies are closing...
