    If it didn't do anything with starting fluid either you have water in the cylinders or no spark. I'd bet on "no Spark"

    I had nothing but trouble with an inline filter on my SPI. Couldn't find the problem. As Miki mentioned.... I took his advice and threw it away and.... no more problems with the SPI. :D

    Perhaps some tennis racket wrap might make it look reasonably better. Someone did that to the control yoke on my airplane and it looked pretty good. Of course... I made it 5 times better looking when I got it. LOL

    How would the bottom end get enough oil if you premix? Injectors do their thing in the combustion chamber. Would the premix fuel find its way into the crankcase to lube the bearings?

    You shouldn't need to adjust anything, you just need to make sure that rotor is in the correct location for timing purposes.
