My understanding is running the ski does not "recharge" the battery, it just maintains whatever level of charge it had before you started it. I'd swap out the battery and test ride.

They do get stuck. I'm not sure what the solution is other than apply some heat and use an extension to get more torque. Welcome to an "IS" Seadoo where even the most basic maintenance is a PITA.

I've read on Greenhulk that users are having good luck with the Chinese knockoffs. Only problem could be getting it married to the ECU. A dealer may not want to perform that service.
