Check the Front Fuse box for any moisture as well. There's a 5 Pin relay that if it gets wet at all, will shut the ski down. Happened to me when a Carbon Ring failed, and water got it that way. Easy check to eliminate that as an possibility. If it is wet, I would replace. Available at any auto...

There is a small Black, 5 Pin Relay under the front hood in the fuse box. Pull that out, and give it a clean. If cleaning the pins doesn't help replace it. It's a common relay, and can be found at any auto parts store. Had three of my 07's give me troubles over that relay.

Update: Thank You gazzaskirepair You were absolutely correct, and after about an hour it was fixed! Safety Note though, don't stand on the ski and yank the steering out....when it finally broke free I almost went flying!

Update: I purchased one online and it was 3 Bow, 6'L x 73" x 46". Once we tried it on it was way to "Long" (Bow to Aft), and looks like it should be 5' Long if you want to see to drive! All the online stores have it listed as a 6' Long Top which would not work. Really cant see shelling out $500...

Update: The entire exhaust system was corroded with Salt Deposits from the previous owner! Pulled it all apart and cleaned everything out and replaced the resonator with straight pipe, runs great and sounds a little meaner now with the straight pipe.

Just picked up an 07 GTI 155, and overall in good shape but has been sitting, like most do, for years. The major issue is the Steering is locked / frozen. The cable is off so I have eliminated that as the usual cause, I'm stumped on this one. Anyone have this happen?
