1995 speedster wear ring part number question

i ordered new wear rings for my 95 speedster from SBT, and they sent me part number 78-101-02A. on their website it currently says the correct part is 78-101-02, with no mention of the "A" model anywhere on the site. any idea if this means anything? Kyle

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

SOLVED: i took the engine cover and intake/flame arrester off. we hit the water and noticed the clear fuel line between carbs didnt look like it was supplying enough pressure. also we could clearly see fuel spraying down the venturi on the MAG carb but not the PTO. i had my friend partially...

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

yeah so that didnt solve it. its an ignition/weak spark issue. i put fresh plugs in it and took it out last weekend. checked the plugs and mag plug looked healthy while pto plug was wet but looked barely fired. i shouldve swapped wires while in the water. lol issues that only present...

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

after about three minutes of WOT on the river sunday, the port motor starting revving higher and higher, then cut out all together and refuse to restart, other than on fluid. pulled the plugs, and this time they had a story to tell. one plug looks healthy while one was looking a little lean, so...

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

all mikuni parts on the carbs, and they were done by my local pwc shop (i bought all the parts, he just finished the rebuilds). im confident they were done correctly. as i said, if it was starving for fuel, wouldnt it sputter and cut out at 4K+ RPM. its of course not like a diesel where the...

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

the motor will not reach full RPM. the 4K that i am getting out of it is definitely providing thrust. i was experimenting with every throttle position possible, and one time the port shot up to 6K+, felt like a small shot of nitrous, then dropped back down to 4K. i couldnt replicate that again...

    1996 SeaDoo Speedster Dual Engine

carbs wouldnt stop the motors from cranking over, but a bad ground certainly would. are you talking about just getting a slight click? because that sounds like youre not getting power. test your batteries, and if theyre charged (around 13v is good) then its either something in the MPEM or...

    1996 Sea-Doo speedster

i was told the same thing miki, but ive left my speedster docked overnight/24hrs a few times, and didnt take on an ounce of water, which i was surprised at (no i dont have an auto bildge pump). local PWC guy said i dont have the carbon rings that purposefully leak slightly to keep cool. not sure...

SOLVED: port motor not revving out ('95 speedster)

i got this boat in march, all four carbs were properly rebuilt + standard tune up. other than the port motor never revving above 4k, both motors run and sound great. the boat accelerates very nicely from no-wake speed. also, while the speedo says im barely hitting 40mph (with only me in the...

    tiny hull repair/registration numbers/deck drain Q's

1.) roger exactly what i needed 2.) when my registration came, i went out and peeled off the port side stickers before i realized that the registration number didnt change when i swapped the title. i liked the font (very 90s) and purple color so i was thinking about having a shop nearby cut one...
