    Michigan Here

Anybody riding Lake Lansing this week or next? I’ve got my ski in town and I’ve been heading out there a couple times a week after work.

The shallow end by the railroad gets weeds because nobody drives over there, but other than that it’s pretty much all sand bottom. I thought the same thing too, coming from riding big lakes, moving to EL and everyone telling me it’s a pond, it’s not worth riding, etc. well I mean it’s more fun...

Lol no it’s not. We setup buoys and run them on weekdays. It’s small and there’s no waves but it’s not dirty or scummy haha.

Ever ride lake Lansing? I live in EL but I’m either lake st clair or crystal every weekend.

time to say good bye to my supercharged sea-doo's :(

I work in insurance. It’s a neat coverage for people not at all mechanically inclined. The boat has to be under 10 years old to add it, and then can remain on until it’s 21 years old. I didn’t know about the seadoo thing though. I’ll have to call underwriting and ask. I’m sure they’re...

That’s pretty cool. I’d probably just get the 60 and tune it instead of the 90. Like I said, if I get another ski, it’ll be a smaller spark/ex for inland stuff. I do too much two up riding on the Great Lakes for a spark everyday haha.

Oh no way?! I thought you got trim but not the reverse bucket. That’s sweet then.

time to say good bye to my supercharged sea-doo's :(

Ive grown up a seadoo guy but but the bullet and got the vxr over the gtr this summer for reliability and overall costs to run. So far I’m not missing that 230hp over my 180hp. Adding ribbon delete, intake, and a simple exhaust mod this weekend. For under $400 I should have added some extra pep...

    Next Level Ski

Agree for solo riding. But for me being 50/50 solo/2up, the RX is awesome. I hated not having reverse with my gsx. What a PITA when by the dock. My RX will still GPS 60.5mph. If you run two even somewhat regularly, I’d say it’s worth it over the smaller skis. Coming from the OP’s 787 GTX, I...

That’s a hard thing to do, buying an old ski that’s not going to be a problem. I did something bad this weekend.. I bought a yami.. 2016 VXR.. and I’m impressed with it. So much more torque than the RX. Doesn’t feel that much heavier/bigger. Funny, though, how the display doesn’t have temp...

    GTR 230 vs RXT 230

I’ve done a ton of research over the past year on this. I actually had money down on a GTR. Went and saw it prepped. Honestly wasn’t that in love with it. I wish the GTR has some flake or something in the black. I hate to admit.. but given the bland paint, potential supercharger...

I’ve thoroughly thought about it! I know of a pair for sale. But the maintenance and longevity don’t sound fun haha. I tested the GTI the other day (they didn’t have a GTR ready).. not impressed. Now looking VXR.

Carbed 951 RX. Absolutely love mine. Favorite two stroke I’ve ridden.

    Gtr230 Air intake

I’ve got money down on one. I’ll be doing an intake and possibly an exhaust. I don’t see any intakes marked for the 230, just the 215. Might have to call riva.

    Winterizing

Idk how you could legally use regular as idk how you’d catch it all as it flushed out. Same in the spring since you just put it in the water and if flushes the remainder out. Just use the RV safe stuff.
