    Challenger 1800 210hp Plane Question

When taking off from a dead stop with 4 adults on board @ full throttle engine revs to a bit over 4500. Once on plane it’ll rev to 5500ish and run about 45mph +/- . I bought it used about 4 years ago and it’s always ran this way. It’s my first boat, and just curious if this is normal behavior...

    Broken torx - rideplate

Thank you. I did a search too, and came up empty. I’m sure the screws on mine are the originals. This one sheared off without much torque at all. Whenever I figure out how to get the broken one out, I’m going to replace both of them. It’s fall in Michigan, so I’ve got plenty of time. Lol...

    Broken torx - rideplate

Just finished winterizing my Challenger 1800. Problem is when reinstalling the ride plate, one of the two torx screws sheared off. Any idea how to get that one out so that I can replace it? Easyouts?

    01 challenger 210 carb won’t stay running.

I'm no mechanic, but my Challenger 1800 with the 210 carb model did the same rev to 4k and go 10mph thing last year. I did a carb clean, and checked stater, etc, but it still ran like garbage. I changed the plugs, and replaced one of the switch boxes on the starboard side (the wires were dried...

    Fuel Tank

Thanks for the info! Gonna order a couple of those mixers. Look handy. I'm not too far north of Toledo. Just off I75 near the Wayne/Monroe county line.

    Fuel Tank

I have a year 2000 Challenger 1800 with the 210 Merc engine. Looking to do the oil injection bypass once my parts show up. I've only owned the boat for a few months, and never ran this tank empty, so no idea how much fuel it holds. Manual says 40 gallons, but would like some confirmation...

    Rev limit on SJ210 M2

Anyone know what the rev limit is set to on the 210 hp model in a Challenger 1800? Does 5200-5300 sound about right?

    4,000 RPM Limit 210HP Challenger 1800

Dang! I just assumed it was still getting water and was just bogged down from the weeds. Hopefully I didn't destroy something. After the first trip, I did flush the engine, (engine off), and water flowed out of it just fine. At any rate, thanks for the tip, if it happens again, Idle speed...

    4,000 RPM Limit 210HP Challenger 1800

I have a 2000 Challenger with the 210 Mercury engine in it. It ran great yesterday pulling tubes, running 50+mph, etc., but not any more. I was in a really weedy lake, and sucked up a lot of nasty weeds. The boat would then only do maybe 10mph at 4,000 RPM. I limped it back to the dock and...
