Nos? Never played with that before. Sounds scary. But I do get 7600-7700 rpms out of the water. Mine came with a k&n already installed. I would assume there would be directions so just follow that. I do have plugs on my intake hose from the filter to the throttle body, so maybe those are the same?

Installed the solas intake grate. The ride is definitely smoother, no basketball dribble bouncing anymore and managed to get another 1-2 mph out of it. Just a couple more to hit 45 mph at 4400'

At sea level maybe. I can only get to 7400 out of water. And the previous impeller was the oem one. Im also achieving a slightly faster speed at less rpm with the new impeller.

I did some cross referencing. It does appear to be the right one. Im ordering it.

Just looked up the grate. Are you sure it will fit a 2011 speedster boat? looks like its for an actual jet ski. I know a lot of parts are reused for different craft but i just wanted to make sure before i pull the trigger on it.

Doesn't seem like solas makes a grate for the 2011 model. Any idea if I can use an older model's grate? Also, is it really OK to use a higher octane in the engine?

94 octane? Never even seen that. I run 87 with an octane booster. I already use full synthetic oil and a knn cold air intake. Haven't done an intake grate and not sure what that would do.

I'm running with nearly 25hp lower than normal because of Elevation. I hear you can get a Turbo to bring the power back as if it were sea level. Is this true and if so, where do I find one and are there any crazy things I have to do to get it installed?

My main issue was the speed and power from earlier posts. I dont know if it's anything with the boat or if it's all because of the elevation.

Just curious.. it's been a year since I posted the 2 pics of my impeller and wear ring. I'm wanting to know if they look ok.
