So I had a 99 Xp, used to dive to front end in a donut and totally submerge the front end causing huge wave over handlebars and rider
I now own a 2009 255 RXPT and do the same thing but this one gets lots of water inside
I'm getting rid of the 255
Does the spark trixx hold up to this kind of fun?
So spent a $1000 last year, new trim modules , new trim motor worked great end of season and first half of this season now it's not working again!!! I took it apart screwed trim to lowest setting. Unplugged trim motor and put back together.
So here we are again next year.... crazy vibe again. I'm assuming another obstruction. Is there better intake grates a guy can get to screen out some of this nightmare!
I probably gunna need a new impeller soon. So just wondering if anyone has gone to a different pitch? I'd like more low end as we pull kids around and never hit top speed.
Also what is factory pitch?
I thought the shaft had stripped out from the excessive amount of vibration I was getting plus I was playing pretty hard just before it happened.
Anyway a hour of standing in the lake while on the boat lift I pulled her apart and bingo..... Drift wood! The impeller had sliced into it but not...
SOB!! He only showed me the green one with the quick connect on end. ! That's what set me out on this goose chase....plus it was like $48 so I figured it had to be special !
Thx I bought a little transfer pump today , came with hose and a MBV! I think going to use the hose to beat the parts guy!!!
Thx so it's a garden connection? I read the man.. It refers to "flush adaptor" connect to the back fitting your talking about. But my dealer showed a goofy connector.
My 99 XP had a garden hose, but honestly I didn't look at this one before I left. I'm just going by what the dealer told me. He showed me some hose with what looked like a spring loaded connector on the end of it. But it was hard to tell what it looked like.
