I understand you have the same Bimini frame I have and wanted to know how you lower it to fit under your cover.

There is a drain under the carpet on mine. It was plugged with debris. Cleaned it out and it drained fine. It is center aft.

Member "nonothing" had a post of parting out an islandia, but he has stopped communicating with posts. Maybe you can resurrect him.

New seats installed. Putting them on is just as much a PITA as taking them off.

My merc 240 doesn't have one either. I was told the reason is that there is little chance of dusty conditions on water. And that the engine compartment is protected from "outside" air. I was confused too when I looked for it. Parts book doesn't show one.

You can replace the switch cover for $5 each. Newwiremarine.com has them.

You can also get access through the speaker holes. PITA anyway you go at it☹️ Advice-tie a string on your tools and outside. If it drops out of your hand you won't get it back. Good judgment comes from experience, experience comes from bad judgment.
