Update. Problems solved. So it turned out to be the neoprene seals. Topped out at 46 mph with wifey and 2 sons onboard. I am one happy camper !

Matt , I have pulled the pumps again and the neoprene was busted in several places. I siliconed them back in,dropped the weedless gates an smoothed it over with my finger. I am going out on Sunday again, let us see. Cheers

Undo the jubilee clip on the bellows and slide the bellows towards the hat and install a zip.tie behind it so it applies a bit more pressure. Tighten down jubilee.

Your solenoid might not be making contact or starter is knackered. To check if it is the solenoid just short out the two big bolts on solenoid and see if it turns over. If not it might be time to change the starter motor. All of the above assumptions dependant on all wiring cleaned and proper...

Did you pry off the plastic plugs on the high screw on the carbs? Other than the high setting it might be sticky raves.

Still sounds like fuel starvation to me. Maybe something came loose after rebuilding ? And a dodgy fuel pump.
