So you replace the fuses and they blow immediately again when trying to start? Where you using the vts when the issue happened on the water? Any recent work done to the machine? Visual inspection Underhood, wiring rubbed through or corrosion in connectors?
To verify the stator issue you should be able to disconnect 4 pin connector at engine and do a continuity test from stator pins to engine ground. Only one wire should have continuity to ground. Do not test other side of connector going to mpem as it will damage your meter.
Don't not worry about case closed dates, just call your dealer with HIN # on hull. They will order in parts and call you when they are in to setup appointment. Repairs will be free as it is a safety concern. You could ask if there are any other bulletins/recalls applicable while on the phone.
