If you have high rpm and no speed then the issue is 100% something with your pump, probably wear ring like mikidymac mentioned earlier The ski gets its cooling from the pump, if your wear ring is toasted it will over heat

You can blow on the return line but with the engine choked it shouldn't take too long. Also can try spraying some fogging oil or premix down the carbs

There is the "trim fix" (google it and it will pop up) or there is a 20 dollar relay off of Amazon(I can find the link in a bit). The nice thing about the trim fix is that it comes with a sensor for the gauge, however you can easily feel where the trim is at. Both options do not have any limits...
