My 2002 GTX RFI runs great out of the water, but has low revs in water. It will only go about 10mph. I am looking for any suggestions.

Update. I had the ski scanned to see if there were any codes as it appears to be in limp mode. The technician that scanned took it out on the water to see for himself the issues I am having. He stated that the ski would not go over about 10 mph. He did notice that the engine would rev up...

I need to replace the battery in my 2002 GTX RFI. is there a preferred replacement battery?

Should I get just the wear ring or a pump rebuild kit? The ski is a 2002 GTX RFI. We bought it last year after it sat for a few years.

I have been having speed issues on my ski. I looked at the wear ring and prop. The prop appears to have cut grooves in the wear ring. I have attached some pictures of my wear ring. Please give me your thoughts on the wear ring. Is it OK? Does it need to be replaced? Thanks

Yes. I changed them when I changed the fuel pump.

I cleaned the Rave valves. They were not in bad shape. My son took the ski out today and it would only go about 11 mph. I am looking for more suggestions on what to look for.

The rave valves don't appear to be too bad. However, there is a lot of oil on the front one. Some oil came out of the rear one as well. Is this normal? If not what does it mean?

I bought new injector since mine sat with old gas for a few years. Most of the fuel system components have been replaced along with the spark plugs and rectifier. We are still having the issue.

The engine won't go any faster in the water.
