Pump mechanic for Sacramento County Sewer District. Had lots of boats mostly i/o with V8 for skiing and tubing plus fishing. First saw a buddy with a Bayliner Jazz with 90 HP jet do a submarine and I was hooked on jets after 20 years of prop boats. Sold boat that weekend and drove to Vegas from Reno to pick up a used 96 Bayliner Jazz with the 120 hp. Wish I would of researched but internet was in infancy back then. 120 HP was a slug but once on plane had a blast with the kids. Drooled over the new Yamaha jet boat with twin engines the Exciter. Economy took a dump lost my house by the lake wife got sick and passed on in 2010. Remarried now and told wife about love for Jet Boats and after tremendous internet searching ended up with a 97 Speedster. Working on getting it all checked out, cleaned, serviced as its been in storage since 2005 or so says the owner.
