Here is information on the 2006-2008 GTI 130 4tec. You didn't provide your model year so it may be different. Plugs are NGK DCPR8E stock #4339. This is the plug with the removable top that you will need to unscrew to fit the coil. You can get it on amazon for about $4 each. Do not get the...

That's the exhaust flush port. It should have internal threads that accept a standard male end of a garden hose. Follow directions in the User Manual to flush engine.

    Battery help!

I would suspect that a 16 ah battery would have trouble handling the higher current requirements of 4tec ski with all of its additional electronics, compared to a 2 stroke which only requires a 16 ah battery. It should start your ski but may give error codes if the load exceeded the battery...

    Warning - broken exhaust clamps

Was winterizing my 2006 gti 130 the other day and noticed a large broken hose clamp sitting in the bottom of the ski near the muffler. Further inspection showed the clamp was missing from the front exhaust hose where it connects to the muffler. The hose was fortunately still connected. A...

    Pump for extracting oil?

Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus on Amazon for about $100 works real well. It's a hand pump with a large reservoir that will evacuate the oil from your ski and reverses to dispense it into a container. Comes with dipstick tube and clear plastic hose. Makes short work of changing your oil...

    Having trouble winterizing 2004 RXP

My setup is similar. Once the engine is started and I turn on the bilge pump, it takes less than 30 seconds to blow through a gallon of antifreeze and out the jet pump. Bucket is on the ground, bilge pump is submerged and hose is the clear type. I have a non-supercharged engine but is...

    2011 seedoo gti 130

My 2006 GTI 130 manual says to pinch the water supply hose from the impeller housing to the exhaust manifold which is labeled with red tape. Operator manual for 2011 GTI 130 says to not exceed 15 mph when towing in water. No mention of hose pinching or red tape...

    2006 GTI SE Questions

I second what JLK62 says. Had one of the exhaust hose clamps break and it sunk my 2006 GTI. I double clamped all hoses I could with good stainless steel clamps and check them every spring before launching.

    anchor storage

A 10 lb anchor seems like overkill for a PWC. You can get a folding Grapnel anchor that comes in a bag on Amazon for about 25 bucks. Been using it for years and works great with no issues. Weighs about 3.5 lbs

    2006 GTI SE Questions

Engine has closed loop cooling which uses anti-freeze coolant to cool the engine like a car radiator. I would change it or at least make sure the reservoir is full. To prevent sticking, the throttle body needs to be lubricated with some BRP XP-S lube. There is a lube port under the seat in...

    Battery recommendation

Big Crank EXT30L is a good AGM replacement for about $113, made in the USA. Mega Crank MTX-30L is a little cheaper at about $100, made in China. Both are from Batterymart.com. I bought Mega Crank last year and it has held up very well so far.
