35 squish is too tight
you need stock head
you gave cylinder porting and carburetor true 40 mm... require more gas!

I use rossier pipe 787 with head mod 92 (175 psi/043 squish) jet kit rossier/flames arrestor/ primer kit/ true 40 carburetor/ rotary valve 163 with SOLAS X 0 , i got rpm 7100@7200 rpm, i hit 59/60 GPS smartphone
i build a a 717 with ape pipe or rossier pipe race version(7250rpm)
with flame arrestor and head mod 175 psi/ 51 squish with mix 93/avg gas
i think is better choice used 787 carburetor for be better reliablilty and performance

Hi, I would like to install a 787 carburetor set in my xp720,but i would need to know if there is a difference in jetting? I use stock jetting 720 on new 787 carburetor?
I used psi dial a dome many years! check the O ring who seal the dome and chamber combustion! She leak easy if you increase or decrease the psi and you risk hydro lock, the O ring broke and water leak into the chamber combustion!
I never try on a 720!!
But i have a factory pipe 720 and i scored a rossier race pipe 720 ( 3part, spacer/manifold/pipe) it,s no rec version!
I will try the rossier race pipe before !
