All right, now I'm confused. When I did mine, I read "all 1/4 hose" from multiple sites. Went out and bought 1/4 hose, but it would not fit over the fittings. Let me qualify this by saying that I'm no stranger to a garage, and I know the difference between a feeler gauge and a vacuum gauge :)...

I did a fuel system rebuild on my 98 GS not too long ago and used 5/16". I remember reading somewhere (not sure where) that the 717's were spec'd for that size line. Anywho, it worked for me :)
