I think it’s fuel level related when you’re turning and the gas is pushed to one side. There may have been a thread about this last year.

I believe on mine, it’s: All the way Down - off Up once (middle) - anchor light All the way up (top) - NAV lights

Make sure you test fit it a bunch to get the angles correct else you’ll run in to what I did with the spacers needed. In my mind, your mount may tilt the tower rearwards so it will be more upright instead of with a forward rake. If you have someone who can help hold it in place or rig something...

Had a local sign company put the new decals on it and picked it up today. I like the new look and that I opted to NOT do it myself. Turned out really nice.

I couldn’t tell a difference in SC whine before/after rebuild but on the water and under power, it sounded the same as before. Noise is from vibration, so it could be that your old SCs had some friction causing the noticeable whine and the new ones with new bearings and washers is running...

dilute CLR should work on rust. Or oxalis acid, 50g/L. Magic Erasers work great on a lot of things and are my first go to since they’re mild. Scrub off particulate mildew, wash with soap and water, and dilute chlorine bleach if it’s really embedded (dampen, let sit, rinse with plenty of water)

Looks great! I should have done more sanding up to higher grit like you, but the white hull hides well, and I’ve got a good gloss with the polish and wax, plus graphics going over the worst of it. More live and learn for me, lol

Got it up last weekend; took some time and extra fitting. Ended up needing 4” of spacers at the rear and longer mounting bolts. Also, i can’t fold forward because I can’t get it low enough to clear the garage. So I fold it to the rear...but then I can barely fit in garage without it sitting on...

Hand waxed it; easiest part of the whole process. Used Meguiars Pure Wax 56. Applied with a cotton hand towel; let it dry to haze and wiped with cotton towels. Very happy with it. I’m still anal about my blemishes that I see but the captain says it looks great. Now, what I’ve been dreading...
