Be sure the ground going to the engine has a good connection. Clean the end really good. If it isn;t getting a good connection it would cause this problem.

Kicker is correct be sure the engine is running before you turn on the water or else the water will flood teh engine. The exhaust of the running engine keeps the water out of the engine.

Servicing and inspection of the seadoo is checking and looking for problems/ doing preventative maintenance, before problems happen. Rebuilding is after you have a problem. If you ignore the "servicing and inspection" part it might lead to failure and no warranty coverage.

Super Chargers should be serviced at 100 hours. If you have a extended warranty it might have other information to keep it in line with their policy's. Is the extended a seadoo warranty or a dealer warranty? If its from seadoo, call another dealer and ask what they suggest based on the warranty...
I suggest you go to any automotive store and get some Thread lock liquid and apply it to the threads of the knobs. They will only come off when you apply a bit of pressure to un-screw them.

Check the wire connectors on the battery and the ground going to the engine, near the starter. If all check out ok, it might be either a a scored cylinder, which a compression test will confirm or maybe a worn out starter.
