Supercharger DIY or send it in?

Send them in. So much easier and their turn around time is great. PWC Muscle did ours and they were easy to deal with.

What year engine is in my boat?

Last 2 digits of HIN are the year of the boat. The motors typically run a year behind like you already stated. Not sure there are any identifiers on the engine. Maybe via the serial on the motor. Safe to say your motor is an '04

    Performance boats using old technology

The 4Tecs are finicky about plugs. The OEM ones are cheap and should be replaced annually. I believe they run about $15 per set of 3. Cheap maintenance when it comes to having a happy 4Tec. Always good practice to keep some spares on hand just in case.

This site offers both the light and a Sea Doo adapter. My light is from the same company. Boat Plug Light

    2006 Islandia electrical issues

If you can access the back sides, check to make sure you have solid connections and no corrosion on any of the terminals. Be sure to check the grounds as well.

    Sea-doo vs. Yamaha

The biggest difference is like you said, one still makes jetboats while the other does not. Long term this could be an issue with parts availability for non-engine items. FInding a place to service the Doo boats can also be a bit difficult to find, but they are out there. The reverse system...

Pipe Plug Socket - coolant plug

I had the same issue when I flushed my coolant a few years back. I sprayed 50/50 acetone and ATF on it a couple of times a day and then used a male extractor in the rounded out hex key slot to remove it. Worked fine.

    Speedster 200 exhaust rebuild

A closed loop exhaust would still more than likely utilize some sort of heat exchanger that would use "source water" to transfer the heat to. If you used something like the heat exchangers in the ride plates or the 2 units like I had on my 210, they would have to be pretty big to dissipate...

    5th seat for speedster

Maybe another rear facing seat can be built into the bow? Add some snaps and those magnetic tabs and it should work. Not sure the legality of it if your seating pate states 4, but I'm sure you'll be fine unless you come across an officer who isn't in the mood.

    Sold our boat

I'll still be lurking around here to help out where I can. New boat shopping has been fun, but boy are these things expensive.

    Sold our boat

Unloaded it to get a center console fishing boat as that is what we've been doing more of these days. We used our boat plenty this season, but only put 20 hours on her being that we mostly stayed in the lake and the trip from the ramp to the sandbar was less than 5 minutes. The buyer got a near...

    Sold our boat

Maybe some, but we'll get over it. Let someone else enjoy the boat as we did. We do more saltwater and fishing these days, things the jet wasn't really good at.

    Sold our boat

Sold our 2012 210 SE yesterday. Sad to see her go, but I believe she's in good hands. She hit a solid 55mph on the sea trial. Still strong with 254 hours on her. I'll still be lurking in here though. On to the next boat...................................

Speedster 200 - Looking for docking lights

There are many LED flush mount options. Here's one of many on Amazon: LED Flush Mount Finding them in a white housing may be difficult, but the majority of what I've seen on other boats have been polished SS.
