    Water leak somewhere 98 GTI

Thanks for the information @ryan bennett. Is it difficult to remove the jet pump housing, impeller and drive shaft? I'm guessing I would start by removing the bolts (I think there are 4 of them) from the back of the Seadoo. Also, I recently fixed my water issue or at least 90% of it. It turns...

    Water leak somewhere 98 GTI

After riding for about 1 hour there is at least 5 gallons of water in my Sea-Doo. this has been happening for a while but now I really feel like I need to fix it. I have a 1998 Sea-Doo GTI. This afternoon I connected a hose to the back and started the Sea-Doo. I wanted to see if water would...

(newbie) 1998 Sea Doo GTI Winterization Videos

Thanks for all the detail @POPPS. I think I'm going to need someone to walk me through it for the first time so that they can help me identify all the hoses. This weekend or next weekend a mechanic is going to walk me through it. I have to pay him of course but I'm hoping he will teach me what I...

(newbie) 1998 Sea Doo GTI Winterization Videos

@POPPS I couldn't find anything referring to the static "can" method, but I did find a process which gets special antifreeze into the engine water supply and return lines. Is this the process you are referring to? (see attachment)

(newbie) 1998 Sea Doo GTI Winterization Videos

I own a 1998 Sea Doo GTI 718cc and would like to try and winterize it myself this year. I know YouTube is a great resource for help of all kinds, but I have not been able to find a winterization video for my spesific Sea Doo. Can someone recommend a video for me to watch (or article) for...

Idle adjustment (1998 Sea Doo GTI 718cc)

Thanks @JeremyD615. If I connect a water hose to the back of the seadoo while I do this adjustment, should the rpm be at 3000 or 1500? The seadoo is technically out of the water but I wasn't sure if using the hose in the back was essentially the same thing as being in the water.

Idle adjustment (1998 Sea Doo GTI 718cc)

Thanks for the info... What kind of tool do you need to check the RPMs. I'm not sure if my Seadoo has an RPM gauge. (but will check in the morning) I'll look for the throttle cable and follow it down to the bracket.

Idle adjustment (1998 Sea Doo GTI 718cc)

Looking for a little help troubleshooting my problem. The Sea Doo starts & runs (after a few attempts) but when idle, she dies down unless I continuously rev the throttle. I'm assuming my Seadoo needs an idle adjustment....? Right? If so, can one of you let me know which screw or knob needs to...

how do i tell if i have a bilge bump

Thanks for the information... To run the Sea Doo from a hose, I'm assuming the ski needs to have some place on the exterior to connect a hose too. Where would I find that connection?

how do i tell if i have a bilge bump

Question: How is the bailer supposed to work. I have them in my 1998 Sea Doo GTI but it takes on a ton of water and I don't see any water shooting out of it.

1998 GTI won't start after running idle for 20min

I ran SeaDoo for about 15 minutes somewhat hard, then shut the sea doo off. 5 minutes later I attempted to start the See-Doo and it would not start. I let it rest for 2 hours, and then it started. But once it started I did not run it hard. I ran it at idle for about 20 min then shut it down. It...
