I was on vacation and had to reinstall my batteries and the only thing long enough that I could find was a long BBQ fork that I cut the tines off just leaving the V part on.

It looks like the allen bolt is in the way. Try turning over the engine to get the bolt towards the outside.

I've loaded them backwards twice. Just raise or lower the tongue of the trailer to get it close to the right height. Bring along an extra strap or chain in case your winch strap isn't long enough.

You can do what I did and change the oil pumps and end plates to the 155 and be good. that is if the oil pumps are not bad.

Can you post pictures of what sockets you are using. A regular auto spark plug socket is thin enough to reach down to the bottom of the hole and with an extension be able to remove the plug.

I used a brake vacuum pump to fill my lines up with oil before installing them. still had a couple small air bubbles but they when away quickly. Figured this out after trying other ways to prime them.

Bought this ski on a whim, not knowing anything about repairing jet skis. Have a 1991 Searay that we bought new, so not new to boating. Already replaced fuel lines and wear ring with the great help of this forum. Never knew how fun riding would be. Now looking for another one to buy.
