    02 GTXDI

I bought One from OSD that was modified from a 4 tech to work for a DI. I don’t even think I got one hour out of it until the maintenance light went on and I hooked it up to the Candoo and it indicated that I had high voltage when the fault triggered I think it was like 18.1 V at 5500 RPM I...

I am a little confused, in post #3 you said you changed both filters? If you didnt change both internal filters, pull the pump and clean the pump like I mentioned above and put new filters in and then try it again it’s worth a try.

No I was not one of the guys that had success with the quantum. I did purchase one several years ago and I got about two hours of run time before it lost enough pressure that it would not start in the water. I think there’s a lifetime warranty on it but I never returned it because if I got...

What fuel pressure were you getting with the three pumps that did not start your ski?

    02 GTXDI

Yes a 12 V battery. Of course I did it outside nowhere near a building and had probably 15 feet of wire between the fuel pump and the battery. No I did not have it fused but it certainly wouldn’t hurt. I cleaned The fuel pumps on both of my DI skis using the above method just as a preventative...

You need to make a rigging to check fuel pressure. Before purchasing a pump try cleaning your OEM pump first by letting it self clean by letting it run in a 50-50 mixture of gas and toluene for an hour or two. If you don’t have any luck with that purchase a good used OEM pump off of Jess or Nick...

Fuel pressure should be 27 psi plus or -2 psi when installing lanyard. 107 psi plus or minus 2psi when cranking The engine with the starter or with the engine running.

Keep in mind there are two filters in the tank. one is on the bottom of the fuel module and one is on the bottom of the pump inside of the module.

    02 GTXDI inline filter

I looked up the specifications on that filter and it is a 3/8 inch inlet and outlet size not a 5/16”. both my DI skis are 5/16 inch fuel line.

2002 GTX DI won’t rev in water, my mechanic is stumped.

That’s good that you’re going to clean the raves and hopefully you’ll pick up some RPMs. But the point that I was getting at is that even at your current RPMs you should be getting at least 10 mph faster.

2002 GTX DI won’t rev in water, my mechanic is stumped.

One of my skis is a 2002GTXDI like yours and I also only get about 6540-6600RPMs. I know I should be getting a couple hundred more but I’m just not so worried about it anymore. I also used to only get 40 mph on the speedometer and that’s all I would get time after time. I eventually raised the...

When you gave it throttle did the ski thrust forward with lots of force or did it seem like The engine was revving faster than you were going-kind of like a clutch slipping in a vehicle?
