    787 Zeeltronic PDCI-24

WhiskeyD, wasn't it you that convert an X4 to run the kawa 1100?

    787 Zeeltronic PDCI-24

I'm still in the game, but no guru. I've finally started back on messing with my old 95xp800 I built a few years back. Couldn't get the fast parts to work, so I went back to stock and am STILL having odd issues. I'm convinced it's the 95 mpem giving me odd electrical inconsistencies. I too am...

2007 challenger won’t start after long ride

Sometimes after a long ride, I notice that both my boat (powered by 04 4tec SC 185) and my 09 Yamaha FX HO (powered by 1.8L non-sc motor) don't like to start back up. It's especially prevalent in the yamaha, which sometimes will crank and crank. I think the problem is partly attributed to heat...

leak down test to test crank seal

yea, that'll work, but my way uses a compressor and allows for a slow, easy way to pressurize anything (carburetor, radiator, crank case etc). It might be cheaper to assemble too. I have an air compressor pressure regulator attached to a ball valve attached to a T, which has a gauge on top and a...

leak down test to test crank seal

The two go to the same cavity. The rotation of the crank and gears creates circulation. Oil goes from the bottom (feed) out the top (exit) fitting. You'll have to plug one to test the seals. After you test the seals, it's usually good to test the the rotary shaft seal also by pressurizing that...

Google seadoo service manuals. They're free and have wiring diagrams.

leak down test to test crank seal

Yes, attach at pulse line. Yes, if you don't cap those two oil circulation fittings and have an inner crank seal leak, you'll feel it come from there. You can get a water balloon and put it around one of the fittings and watch it blow up if you've got a leak.

leak down test to test crank seal

basically, you close off the exhaust port, the intake ports and spark plug hoes and pressurize the crank case. It should hold 10psi for some amount of time. You can spray soapy water on all the places where you suspect a leak. Only place you won't see it is the head gasket o-rings. Those will...

    Impeller Vibration

Here is one thing I forgot to mention: I did bore the venturi and steering nozzle by about 3mm, so they let more water out now. It has reduced my top speed by about 5mph. I wanted the top speed lower while gaining holeshot.

Stainless wear ring and brand new prop. You could hardly slide a sheet of paper in there

    Impeller Vibration

Well, when I go back to the original prop, everything is smooth again at all rpm. But I have more cavitation and less thrust. I would think the impellers are the same width because literally everything is the same between 2003 and 2005 in terms of dimensions. Nothing is being mashed and the pump...

    Impeller Vibration

Ok, I got one for you guys. 2004 Seadoo GTX drivetrain in a 1997 Seadoo Challenger boat. I built this boat a while back and just used all the GTX parts initially. The prop was the regular non-swirl 4 blade one with 11/19 pitch. I ate some rocks and decided to try the swirl prop from an 05 GTX. I...

How hard to reseal crank on 717

if you mean the rotary shaft seal, not too bad. If you mean the inner crank seals, IMPOSSIBLE. It takes a special person with special tools and very special skills to rebuild a crank. It has to be pulled apart at the webs and pressed back togehter with new seals. IDK anyone that can do this...
