I've found a lot of threads discussing this. But nobody has directed to what the CCA need to be when swapping to a single battery. I want the smallest possible battery to run the boat. Anyone have a simple answer to this. Boat is stock. No stereo or anything like that.
I ordered mine on amazon and had them in about 4 days. Just search that diode on amazon. The picture doesnt looks like the extract diode. But the one that showed up was exactly oem.
Im replaced the diodes. Should be gtg. We will see if that fixed the problem in a few weeks when I can work on the boat. I havent seen anything about rebuilding the entire MEPEM or why that would be necessary. As far as the keys, im not sure I have DESS and I dont think replacing blown diodes...
Apparently bad MPEM is a super common problem on these. So that's the reason. I am going to remove the MPEM and attempt to repair the blown diodes, if that fails I'll have to buy a new one.
