    Hey @Mbraley there is got to be a company that can manufacture the carbon fiber hood. Back in the days in the early 80’s I sent my steel factory hood for my 72’ GTO to this company Called fiber glass unlimited. They use my hood to make a mold. It cost me almost grand back then.

    I believe the smaller one goes to the upper plate it’s above the carbs. If yours are the 951 carbs.

    It was a different thickness. I used an aftermarket gasket and it wa the wrong one. So I ended up buying the oem gasket from Seadoo. No sealant required. Just make sure the flanges on both sides are clean and use proper bolt torque specs.

    I have the same thing happen to my 2000 RX. everything check out fine as far as carb adjustments. But I came to find out that the carburetor base gasket was the culprit. Just make sure the all your clamps are up to par. I used the oem clamps on all my fuel lines. I just didn’t trust the regular...

    You can always try the expanding foam from Home Depot or Lowe’s. Just spray it, let it expand then just trim it flush.
