    Gtx with water in gas??

My doo is stalling on takeoff and I'm wondering if water maybe the culprit. I checked my plugs and found beads of water on them. Would this cause my problem and if so what could I do to fix this? Can I add a can of fuel stabilizer to my tank? Would this help or should I drain my tank?

    1999 GTX stalling on takeoff

Gtx stalling on takeoff If there's dirt in my accelerator pump will it come out eventually or will I have to take it apart? One screw will not unscrew and I'm scared that I might twist of the screw. If the pumpsquirts gas as soon as you throttle it, it must be working right? Any comments are...

    1999 GTX stalling on takeoff

I bypassed the fuel selector but it still stalls at wot on takeoff. I talked to a mechanic and he said it might be my accelerator pump. I took of the carbs but could'nt unscrew the pump( one screw would not come unscrewed). I did notice though that when i pressed the throttle gas came out of...

    1999 GTX stalling on takeoff

Wondering if anyone can help me with my problem? I just did some work on my GTX a week ago and got it running good(replaced grey fuel lines, cleaned carbs, etc..). I thought the fuel selector was shot so I bypassed it and everything was working fine. It had good response and picked up speed nice...

    1999 GTX max RPMs????

Did a carb adjustment this morning. backed off the high speed screw 1/4 turn and tried it for 15-20 min at open throttle. When I checked the plugs they are both burning light to dark brown. A local mechanic told me thats pretty good. Back to the rpm issue. When I take off it goes up to 7000 but...

    1999 GTX max RPMs????

I'm working on my '99 GTX Limited 951 and almost got her where I want her. Just wondering what the max rpms should be? It starts out at 6900rpms and when it gets up to speed goes back down to 6820-6850rpms. Is this an acceptable rpm range? Can I get more out of it? Should I even try or be...

    2000 xp pulse hose

So are you saying that the pulse hose going to the rave solenoid comes from the carburator side underneath?

    1997 seadoo GSX limited rpm?

Will the engine rpms be up where they suppose to be if that black hose is not connected? If there's no pressure the variable exhaust valves will not open right? So rpms will be way done. My 'Doo feels like it's sputtering when I open it up. Could these valves be the problem?

    1997 seadoo GSX limited rpm?

No it's a black hose (1/8) I think. You can see the RAVE solenoid straight out from the valves attached to the side of the boat(that's where it's at on mine anyway). Then it leaves the solenoid and splits going to each RAVE valve. Another hose leaves and goes to the back for vent or whats called...

    1997 seadoo GSX limited rpm?

1999 GTX with low RPMs I have a '99 GTX with similar problem. My seadoo will only get up to 5300-5400rpms and no more. I changed out all the old fuel lines, new plugs, and cleaned the RAVE valves. Not sure what the problem is but looked at the online manual today which said that the black hoses...

    1999 GTX low RPM'S

I bought a 1999 GTX Limited last week and took it out for the first time today. It seemed to sputter from take off right to open throttle. It starts fine on the trailer does not miss fire at all. I changed all the grey fuel lines tonight and cleaned my RAVE valves( I don't think they were ever...

    Grey Gas lines

Thanks I'll give it a try. It looks like it's gonna be a tight squeeze though. Any thoughts on what kind of fuel lines to buy? I was looking at some automotive fuel lines at our local garage and they look ok to me. Any thoughts?

    Grey Gas lines

Changing grey fuel lines I just bought a 1999 GTX Limited. The previous owner just recently had the carbs done but never replaced the fuel lines. i want to replace and am wondering if I have to take off the black exhaust pipe or can I replace them without removing it? Any advice would be...
