@anthonymsaad The pool noodles aren't completely secure (they hang a bit loose), but they generally stay in place enough that if someone hits the transom it will be protected. @LikeabossTM It really only takes about 30-40 seconds to protect the rear bumper (far from bubble wrapping the boat)...

Anthony here are a couple photos of my current “bumper protection” setup ... it’s quite unsophisticated but the bungees hold the pool noodles in place. It’s not very sturdy though and I need to come up with a better solution. Can I see a picture of your flat rectangular bumpers that you attach...

Thanks for the detailed response Anthony. I ended up purchasing a 60" high density foam pool noodle and bungee tied it on the back of the boat through the two handles and the rear swim ladder. It seems to do the job for now, and being that it's a solid noodle (without a hole in the center) it...

Thanks for the additional info, guys! I ran the pump for a good 3-5 minutes to remove all of the water ... including having to run it while operating the boat on plane to remove it all. I had noticed a fair amount of water in the ski locker, but hadn't checked to see how much was in the engine...

For longer trips with the boat/trailer I prefer to keep the cover off. Just close the windshield and you're good to go! I think the trade-off of the cleaning, etc that's needed is worth saving the strain on the cover.

Thanks for the info guys. Should I have additional wires on the battery itself? Here’s a pic of the battery. I’ll have to remove the cover on the back of the battery switch to get a better look at those wires.

Does anyone know if the bilge pump will work automatically when the battery switch is off? I'm aware that it will turn on as needed with the ignition off, but not sure if the battery switch still has to be ON in order for that feature to work? The reason I ask is my boat had a fair amount of...

I’m pretty sure it will adhere right over the top without any issues ... but will let those that have done it chime in. I’m getting ready to do the installation as well. Any other tips for installing seadek would be appreciated.

The RPM's are synced and equal at WOT ... will have to look into the nozzle alignment. Anyone have a copy from the shop manual showing how to do this, or know where I can pick up a manual? Unfortunately there aren't many YouTube videos on the later model Challenger boats.

Good point! Didn't think of that ... new decals alone might be a nice touch from the 7 years of sun-exposed fading of the original decals. Might give it a shot!
