I dunno about that guy that posted changing the blower in 32 seconds. Hanging over the side and trying to see under the padding. I ended up pealing the padding which held together. Very difficult when you can't see. A true pain in the azz but not a lot of work. Someone wrapped stick-on...
I found some adjustable stands designed to lift the cover to keep the rain/water from pooling in low areas. I'm gonna decide which one I want to get. I'll post up.
I have to say my most miserable Bastid award goes to my current project 1996 Seadoo Speedster boat. It is at the top of my list because I don't like working on boats so it is an enigma why I even bought it. You can't get to parts without hanging over the side, and this SOB had too many idiots...
Me Three. I am the Seadoo 2-stroke resurrector. :D :D Some of them do not appreciate me and fight me all the way... like this speedster. :D :D It finally succumbed to my repeated attacks and ceaseless onslaught. It's almost friendly now. LOL
You'll need to adjust the trim so it isn't putting pressure on the nozzle.
IMPORTANT: check that rubber accordion (boot) for cracks or splits or being brittle. If that leaks water will get into your VTS motor section. That is definitely NOT the proper clamp to hold the boot in position. Do...
On a side note, I'm surprised that I was able to get the sensor and speedo working on the Speedster. Usually the sensor is bad. Happily it was corroded wiring in the plug. I was actually shocked it worked. We'll see if it remains working. I'm not used to these Seadoos being nice to me. :D
I've been cleaning up a bit and sometimes I run across sensors and parts I have. I believe I have 4 or 5 of each of the electronic components to repair the speedos as well. If/when I come across them again anyone that wants them is welcome to them if you are going to use the parts for...
I doubt this level of perfection is necessary but I am trying to resolve problem or at least determine what it isn't. One thing for sure it is all parallel now so I've done what I can. I removed the thru bolts and machined the landings to the correct height to match the pump mount surface...
If the bore isn't scoured up .75mm over would be a safe size to order. You want to bore the clean up. It doesn't matter what the final bore size is your goal is the get a good clean bore.
I posted up about my alignment issues on the PWC side of things. When I tested the boat I noticed the right engine revved to high when I was getting on plane so I remembered I had to ship the jet pump after I aligned the engines. On the right engine I had to shim 3 bolts and I really didn't...
I always go (.5mm) oversize from a standard bore. Easier to clean up the bore completely. (.25mm) means centering the boring tool and cleaning up all the bore damage in (.010") and that adds up to (.005") on the wall surface which is not much especially accounting for uneven cylinder wear or...
I'm posting in this forum because it is most read by the 2-stroke junkies. :D
After my battle with the Seadoo Twin Engine Speedster engine alignments.... which were "spot on" when I got done modifying the engine bases, I encountered issues with the engines being difficult to rotate after...
