I had a 97 GTX, an 01 GTX and now the 02 rxdi and the rx is defiantly my favorite. More nimble and better handling ski imo. One thing I did notice tho is the rx doesnt ride near as well as the gtxs in rougher water.

If the battery is only at 11.6v resting and then jumps to 12.6 when it’s running sounds like a weak/ bad battery. I would pull the battery out of the ski and charge it. Let it sit for a few hrs after charging and see what the voltage is then. If you don’t get at least 12.5 I’d throw a new...

Had the ski out again yesterday and noticed when coming off idle if you go wide open I have some cavitation when it’s coming up on plain, almost like when riding in rough choppy water and the ski comes out off the water momentarily. Any idea what could be causing this?

It’s on the bottom of the pump it’s self. You have to pull the pump out of the canister to get to it.

Yeah my fault I didn’t read the part where he said it’s a 787. I do believe the pump filters are the same for both di and rfi, though im not 100% sure

Yes, remove the nuts holding the unit in the tank. It will take a little finessing to get out just be carful of the float and rod for the fuel gauge when removing the canister from the tank. I ordered my filters from eBay just search Seadoo di pump filters and they should come up.

I would find a way to verify fuel pressure. Another thing your gonna find out is that having a candoo pro is almost a must when having a DI. Didn’t take me long to realize that lol.
