I think you had problems before the rock if you are only hitting 55 top speed... See attached pic for my GPS run on a 05 GTX 185... 2 passengers and full tank of gas... 61.6 mph top speed... what are your hours and has your SC been rebuilt recently?

I have a 2005 GTX SC and at at 76-7700 RPM I am getting just shy of 62 on GPS with two ppl and full tank. You are definitely not getting the correct speed for the engine rpms :(

Hey, Looking at a Shuttle Craft in the central Texas area for bout $1,000, no ski. Guy says the rails in it were for his 99’ GTX, problem is I have an 05’ GTX.... anyone know where to find the manuals to see if my ski will fit in the boat? Or difference in Hulls? I have seen some threads out...

Ok got to take my new to me 2005 GTX SC out today with the family. Did a full speed run with me (200 lbs) and daughter (50 lbs) at full gas tank and choppy water and ended up at between 7500-7800rpm ( couldn’t quite see it perfectly) and 61.6 mph. Seems a bit slow to me, what do y’all think?

I want to replace the handle bar grips on my 05 GTX SC... there are tons on eBay and amazon but seem cheap... anyone know a good place to get these and are they just bolt on? I can’t seem to find the diagram on here for replacement? Thx

I really hate seeing all these , motors rebuilt but not running posts apparently it wasn’t rebuilt correctly... cmon man

Looking for decals for an 05 Gtx, can’t seem to find any. I can find plenty for older models and new ones but not this gen... not looking for a full wrap just some cool decals for the upper hull gel area, or any really. Thanks!
