Another "unbiased" opinion - go with the S3 hulled RXT260 for recreation and towing!! I don't know what your expectations are for wake boarding but IMO, a seadoo is not a wake boarding machine - no wake!!

I use an Optimate 4 that is connected to the battery whenever the SeaDoo is on the lift. However, I was concerned about the possibility of damaging the SeaDoo's electronics so I installed a battery switch that isolates the battery from the electronics.

I'm a little sceptical that these are really sealed bearings so I plan on pulling a hub and checking. If they are sealed, then I will probably leave them as is but will be checking for play and noise on a regular basis.

My 2011 RXT came with a Road Master trailer and "sealed maintenance free wheel bearings". I was wondering how good these maintenance free bearings are or should I consider installing Bearing Buddies. Anybody have any experience - good or bad - with the maintenance free bearings?

In the interests of full disclosure, I should have added that the RXT 260 likes a lot of gas!!! I can't comment on the GTR 215 but imagine it wouldn't be as thirsty as the RXT 260.
