Yes. That is how it is done, along with a rebuild for many. Research it before starting.

The carb filters are probably already clogged. You will find info re the cleaning on this forum. And also the fuel switch should be cleaned. I added an outboard fuel filter in the fuel line to avoid having to tear into the carbs again. I had the same issues when I first got my SPX's.

Seems like you did all the right things. I suspect carb redo may be faulty, assuming spark is good. Good luck. :frown:

What kind of spark are you getting at the plugs? None? You said you were getting some earlier, maybe just not enuf. Fuel? Thats the other ingredient. Carb filters cleaned, fuel lines replaced?

I had similar problem. Put a towel over the top and crank engine. That will probably clean them out.

You do not need to buy the Seadoo brand. The key spec is TC-W3. Look for that in other brands, even WalMart.

Looks like there are two oil lines in the parts diagram. One is 8 mm and other 12 mm. The 8 mm is supposed to go to oil pump. The 12 mm may be a return. I'm going to look at them again. I went back out on the lake on Labor Day after only 6 days of sitting so oil shouldn't have seeped in that...
