2011 GTI 130 not running well

Change the spark plugs as they MUST be near perfect in the 4-tec skis. It sounds like you have a bad connection though. I’d remove the cables, clean them and where they connect, clean the grounds on the block as well..

My 97 SeaDoo GSX won’t start .. no beep totally dead

Sounds like you have the feed wire on the wrong post. On the BATTERY side you want all the wires except the one single large wire that feeds the starter.

    IBR issues HELP!

I had a very similar issue. In looking at your codes, they all come back to a poor connection, Amperage or voltage issue. I had the same problem with a few more codes than you. Took everything related to the module and wiring apart. All looked perfect. Cleaned it all, wire brushed it, put it...

    RXP 215 Top End

The fact that it is a beast out of the hole, tells me that the impeller, wear ring, and Super harder are likely good. Based on that, I’m guessing someone changed the impeller. Increased the low end torque but decreases the top end speed. What RPMs are you seeing on the top end.

2015 RXT 260 IBR Failure, Low Battery Voltage?

Had a very similar issue. My IBR issue put me in Limp mode and I could not use the IBR at all. Bought the Can Doo Pro and plugged in. Found 11 occasion of low volatile issues going to the IBT module. Pulled all of the wires out of the IBR Module and cleaned them all very well, even though they...

Clicking sound with trying to start one of the motors

Pull the spark plugs to eliminate the compression. You should be able to see the drive shaft behind the engine. If so, put a wrap on it and use some channel locks. If it were me, I’d pull the pump and use an Impeller Tool. Also, 4-tecs do not like to be spun backwards. So crank the other...

Extended warranty on a new ski

Officially, no MOD will void a warranty. Under federal law it MUST be proven that the modification you did caused the failure itself. If this can be done, then yes, that PART of the warranty is no longer a covered item. I wont this battle in court. Every state in the US is covered by this...

    2000 Seadoo GTX

Jump the solenoid. If it cranks you know the battery, cables, connections, and the starter are good. If it doesn’t crank, one of those items needs addressed. This will at the very least give you a direction to head.

Clicking sound with trying to start one of the motors

If you are getting LOTS OF SPARKS, without the starter engaging, you have a bad starter and or the engine is seized. First things first, pull the spark plugs and see if you can turn the engine over by hand. If not, pull the pump as you may have seized bearings. They will also stop an engine...

    718 starters

Most aftermarket are horrible. You will be pulling it back out. If yours is an OEM starter, order a brush kit and install them. That is almost always all that is wrong. If not, find a used OEM and install new brushes before you install it. @Minnetonka4me can help you.

    Not getting fuel???

Correct me if I am wrong.. It basically goes from tank, to filter, to valve, to carb, yes? If so, since it runs ok when you pressurize the tank and get fuel into the filter, then the issue should be before the filter. Which would be something in the tank being the problem.

    starting issues!

Place a DOVM on the output side of the solenoid. Press and hold the start button, what does the DVOM say the voltage is? It is sounding like, the solenoid may be working but it is not allowing all the voltage to pass through it.

    Shaft Guard Missing

If you are referring to the plastic sleeve that surrounds the shaft, it isn’t critical. Many operate without them. Just spray the shaft with Fluid Film or something like that to help keep the metal in good condition.

    Not getting fuel???

Set up a remote tank and have it run directly off this tank. Then one line/union at a time move the tank back. When it stops running, you will have found where the issue is...

    No start

Open the rear deck to make sure there are no fumes. Jump the solenoid. If it cranks you know the battery, cables, connections, and the starter are good. If it doesn’t crank, one of those items needs addressed. This will at the very least give you a direction to head.
