The "hull" is some kind of polycarbonate plastic concoction....definately can't do a 'fiberglass" repair on it.....MAYBE a plastic welding repair for a crack...but I'd consider that dicey at best. Besides, if the hull is cracked and you try to repair it, another crack is gonna happen soon...

OK, thanks for that piece of info. My son rode the Spark right after I did all the service items, he says the ski will NOT accelerate above 30 mph, it always ran much faster than that. I still have the "maintenance message" running on the display......looks like a dealer trip at this point.

Does the ski still display "maintenance required" or something like that across the display? If so, I wonder why my ski seems to be "inhibited" but yours doesn't???? Weird!

The two posts next to the fuse box are the solenoid posts. Shorting them together should send battery power directly to the starter and the starter should try to turn over the motor. You say you can hear clicking...that means the solenoid is trying to make a connection (internally) to those...

NO, the self "bilging" actually flows out another orifice higher up above the jet pump area and through the hull. The water literally gets sucked out of the hull.....in theory, if everything is working properly.

A brand new battery should LAST a lot longer than a couple weeks sitting inside the ski (doing nothing)....BUT: 1) The battery could be bad nonetheless 2) there could be a parasitic draw on the battery from the ski itself (a dead short somewhere, corrosion)
