    broken toggle switch challenger 210

I had the same toggle switch break a while back. If you still have the metal switch housings that go over the switch, you can replace just the internal toggle part. I can’t remember what the P/N of the replacement switch as I got from the dealer but it was fairly straightforward to swap the...

    twin 155, single 215 or 255 SC

Utopia would be ideal. With dual engines, you get better thrust at low end speeds and acts like you'd expect a jet boat to behave, especially as you add on more weight. Used to have a single engine jet boat and it did not handle weight well and bogged down the engine badly. When I did pull a...

2010 challenger 210 with twin 155hp no start

Wait, you drove with only one engine on? It seems either your ignition system wasn't turning on the starboard ECMs until you forced the engine to turn over. With the keys out, do either of the hour meters stay on?

    Seadoo Upgrade

Definitely will! Been looking into adding air filters to mine but trying to get around the intake silencers and tubing.

    Seadoo Upgrade

@jalers01 Random question. Does your boat really have the 430hp engines? I thought the 215hp engines didn't have air filters and only the 255hp engines had air filters and that engine cover unless the newer challenger engines with 430hp have different engine designs.

    Add Clutch to Jet Boat?

I didn't see it mentioned but I have the same boat and my engines fire up at nearly the same time. Last year, it may have been 0.25 second delay but after replacing plugs, they've been firing up at the same time. I definitely understand where you're coming from with one engine fired up and...

    201? 210 SE Restoration Build {salt water :(}

I'd say it's a 2012 from the gauge cluster, but I know engine wiring harness and ECMs are a pain to get, if it's even possible. Although Rotax still makes engines for other boats, the software on the ECMs are different than on the SeaDoos, so I wouldn't try swapping them out with a newer on...

Trailering long distance with a cover

I hate to see this escalate. Would prefer everyone shares their own advices and thoughts so that others, that feel they are in a similar situation, can better understand the topic and make an appropriate decision. But although driving 10s of thousands of miles does give you a lot of experience...

Supercharger Melt Down - Your opinion wanted

@go_panthers I did not. Nothing was wrong with them. In order to install them, you need to attach them to the top and bottom of the jet nozzle. On the bottom side, you take the screw out of the steering rod and then put it back and through the thrust vector mount. So when that bolt came out, the...

How to protect swim platform/transom when docked?

The best idea I have is if you take some line and run it through the noodle that has a hole through it, and place it in the middle of the rope, with equal length of excess rope on each end. Next, put in knots or some stopper at each of the noodle in order to prevent the noodle from sliding along...

    Who has/had a challenger 230 with a subwoofer?

@JK230SP Thanks so much for all the details! Definitely agree on the speaker placement and will keep that in mind. As far as not killing the batteries, the shop that the previous owner of my boat had a battery isolator solenoid installed, with the trigger wire connected to the ignition system...

How to protect swim platform/transom when docked?

@FlyboyZR1 Here are exact bumpers I got. They flex a bit but they don't provide as much coverage as your current setup. The issue I had using them was securing them to the handle and not move around. Using some paracord laying around, I fashioned a flexible "skeleton" to prevent it from sliding...

    Who has/had a challenger 230 with a subwoofer?

And here I am thinking my 800W amp was pretty powerful. How's the sound? I've always wanted to know with that much power, do you ever actually utilize that much power or get to at least 70% volume before hearing damage? I can barely push mine above 70% without the engines on. Only when underway...

Speedster cavitation when starting out WOT

Thank you for sharing that! That was not at all what I expected to happen! May give that a try next time I have time! Also does the intercooler upgrade make that much of a performance difference?
