I have a 2023 GTI SE 170 as well 10 hours I have been in choppy water in the bay Haven't got the chance to take it Out to ocean, it handles pretty good Feels like my old 2010 gtx 155 But a lot more playful easy to handle So far im very happy with the unit.

11/19 its recommended for a lower power gtx 155 , im talking about a 170 hp More power

I would really pay good attention to the power cable , Short cable that goes from start relay to positive terminal on battery, I believe it has 2 red wires connected with it going to relay.

What should be normal high RPM , I did replaced oem Prop and wear ring for a solas 11/19 now the holeshot is great no cavitation whatsoever top speed is 54mph Max RPM is 7000 , I believe before RPM was at 8000 if i am correct would a solas prop make you loose rpm ?

Only manufacturer recommended plugs for best performance , It could be you have a bad supercharge , Start by checking your pump and look for a bad wear ring and impeller most of the time this are the cause of bad performance.

First thing i would do is to grab a low volt meter and connect one lead to negative the other one to positive terminal on the battery , Then start the jet ski and see if you are getting a reading less than 13 volts = Bad Rectifier ,bad magneto. Or bad cable connection, Follow the 3 yellow wires...
