So I let a couple of guests take out my 1998 GTX candidates 951 yesterday and they turttled it unbelievably. Turned it upside very quickly and got it back to the dock, got it started and it ran perfect the rest of the day. Should I look into anything or am I good to go?

Try pulling out the choke when it starts to bog just a bit to see if it changes

I have the same boat and it looks just like that

So I got my gtx ltd carb model out and the starter cranks a few times and dies. Switched out new battery and same thing. Ran fine when I used it last a month ago. I assume this means a starter replacement. Can you do that without removing the engine? Do I need to remove the exhaust tube?

3M also makes a wax and it smells really good too. I usually follow the rubbing compound with the their swirl remover then the wax just wipes on by hand.

Hey I have an issue with my oil pump, the control line slipped off I have reattached it but it does not seem to go back after you release the throttle. Any fix ideas?

After a day or two of running you should not smell anything unless your garage is extremely warm. I would look in the bilge for any leaking gasoline, fittings or maybe a leak from the tank. Don't fool around with this.
