Desperately Seeking Control Handle Assembly for 2008 Utopia 205 SE

A freind who is a mchinist, mad this cutom colllar which got me back working again. My plastic handle was only partly broken, so there was a little meat left to re-inforce. I also now hold the stick lower to put less stress when shifting/throttling. BTW- my 2011 SP210 is for sale.

    Seadoo 210 SP NEW PURCHASE

I have the same boat, and you do need someone holding the tower as you rotate the lock handles. Don’t want to rotate with all the weight/stress still applied. I have not lubed my locks, other than some WD type spray once it’s down. Good luck.

    2008 230 Wake revs out.

That sounds like something stuck in the impellers to me. I have found a small twig, or a peice of plastic bottle cap, that I ran over at low speed. It gets lodged at the edge of impeller, and causes the symptom you described. I have an extra long pair of needle nose, or coat hanger with bent tip...

    2008 speedster 200, seaweed sucked

I keep a long stiff wire with a bend at the tip to reach in as best I can. Sometimes yoou have to from underneath, sometimes you can get it from the back. I also picked up a pair of the longest hemostats that Harbor freight had, but haven't had to use them yet.

    2009 Challenger 180 (255HP)

I have had issues occasionally with finding "Neutral" that makes the ECU happy. The control doesn't lock excatly anymore, so sometimes it just takes a handle wiggle to find the sweet spot.

    Anyone here moored a 230

We have had our SP210 in a slip every year since 2012. We had a second battery installed, just to double the run time on the bilge pump. THe biggest issue with width to me is amount of potential movement from waves/wakes in your slip. My 10' slip has been no problem, but I am quite protected...

    2008 speedster 200, seaweed sucked

We have this occur many times, usually coming out of our "No Wake" channel. Sometimes I can kill one engine, and drive in reverse for a bit, then switch engines and repeat. Not always successful, but can work on some smaller vegitation. Worst case, see JPass's post.
