Currently adding second battery but would be nice to have for future issues and would be nice so I am not running a wire half way across the boat just to find out the signal was 6 inches away.

Was able to sign up and download the manual however the wiring diagram portion of the manual is not usable. Trying to get a copy of the wiring diagram. 2010 speedster 150.

I think the issue you will run into is that if you stick with the factory switch you will have no way of disabling one of the batteries from the system. The new switch has 4 posts versus the stock 2 posts.
