    Adios Amigos!

Well, I sold my Sea Doo and am looking at a good-sized center console for off-shore fishing. Honestly, I really hated to see the Speedster go, but it was in the way of me getting my retirement boat, and I think the right person bought her to enjoy! Thanks to everyone who offered advice and...

    Surging RPM

Not saying it's a "Cure-All" but I've personally used it to cure many a stumblin' engine. I run Seafoam in every internal combustion engine I own....right down to my 1-cylinder lawnmower.

    Seadoo Upgrade

I've got a 2005 Sea Doo Speedster 200 for sale! It's a fun boat, no doubt, but I'm on the hunt for a center console for fishing.

    Anyone bought/sold a 210 challenger recently?

Kind of in the same boat...pardon the pun....... LOL! Trying to sell my Speedster 200 to use as a down payment in hopes of getting a good sized center console fishing boat! I've got her listed at $16K hoping to get a reasonable offer, and I've seen comparable ads for older boats in much worse...

    Stone Dead Battery

I'd guess at bilge pump as well. Mine kept hanging and running when no water was in the bilge area. Consequently, it would run the battery dead. I pulled it, cleaned the float really good and it seems to work as designed now. BUT.....I pull the fuse when I'm not going to be using it for a...

    Seafoam??

Thanks! Based on the documentation that came with my boat from the previous owner, I had always thought they were 155s. I did some Googling on it and sure enough, came up with 2005 SC Speedster 200 was combined 370HP. But I do know for a FACT that they are supercharged, because I removed the...

    Seafoam??

Pretty sure they are 155s in the 2005 SC Speedster......

    Seafoam??

If they're not, then I spent close to a grand and folded myself in half to rebuild SOMETHING on each engine last year! LOL!

2007 Sea Doo Speedster - Beeps

I think the one beep indicates that everything checks out. I get the same thing and the three beeps go away after cranking the engine. I think the three beeps mean the DESS is in place, but the engine is not cranked. I don't think it's an error warning.

    Seafoam??

Been running it at 1oz/gal in my supercharged twin 155s for the past three years. Engines run like sewing machines!

Speedster 200 Trim options - porposing

Same problem here. My guess is the port side tab deflection angle needs to be decreased for less drag. My last time out, I was able to counteract the pull to port by running the port side engine rpms higher than the starboard engine to use torque steering. It helos, but not what I want to do...

Boat pulls to the left - Why?

That's what mine are....about 10 degrees. It took out the bouncing completely, but added the pull to port. I'm going to take out about half of the bend on the port side and see if that makes a difference.

Boat pulls to the left - Why?

Same issue here. I added fixed trim tabs and whereas they corrected the porpoising, it now pulls hard to port. I’m planning to pull the port side tab and lessen the angle some so there is less drag on that side to see if it helps.

    Surging RPM

I'd also suggest replacing the plugs with the proper gap set. AND.....add Sea Foam to the gas tank at 1oz/gallon of gas. You might have a slightly clogged injector or two. Some folks might call it snake oil, but I swear by it.
