After replacing the wear ring and running down the lake we suffered a loss of power and now it won't start or turn over. Seems to get hung up.

We're going to pull the rear end out and look around.

Any suggestions?

it sounds hydro locked pull spark plugs check oil see if milky white looking

check for hydro lock if u lost power while moving or towed ski back to doc you may have water in your motor
Pulled the pump and found the issue, pump bearing failure. See attached screen shots of NEW wear ring just replaced and impeller and metal shavings from the pump house.

After removing pump, the ski started just fine. The impeller was totally locked and wouldn't rotate! Hope no damage to engine!

had a similar issue on the Challenger, in that case a rock was wedged between the impeller blades and dug in the wear ring, your wear ring metal?
