I have been searching for a solution to replace the foam step cover on my wife's 2004 GTX and was running into all kinds of dead ends. I was about to try using some rubber hose to make the ladder a bit less painful for re-boarding, but I saw a pack of four foam covers for cane handles for $20 on Amazon and took a chance. The installation was awful. It took me 20 minutes of soap and water and swearing to get them on, but once on and in the sun for a few minutes, they are not moving. I just did one cover in the middle of the bar to make boarding easier and I have three more foam tubes for when this one, or the one on my 2008 GTX, falls apart. Seems a whole lot better and cheaper than what Ebay used part or Seadoo wants for a replacement ($77).

Enjoy!
